Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to common questions about how TrueSignal works and what it is (and is not) meant for.
- What is TrueSignal?
- TrueSignal is a real-time monitoring and alerting platform. You create instances that watch specific accounts, channels, or web sources and forward important posts or events into your own Discord, Telegram, or email.
- Which platforms can TrueSignal watch?
- Today TrueSignal can track Truth Social accounts, Twitter / X accounts, YouTube channels, and custom web monitors. Support for more sources may be added over time.
- Does TrueSignal give me financial or trading advice?
- No. TrueSignal never provides financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. It helps you see information faster, but all trading and investment decisions are your responsibility.
- How does the AI "important only" filter work?
- When you enable important-only mode on an instance, new posts and events are run through an AI classifier using your criteria. The model tries to decide whether something is high-signal for you before sending an alert. It can make mistakes and should not be treated as a guarantee.
- What data does TrueSignal store?
- TrueSignal stores the configuration for your instances, the posts and events those instances ingest from public sources, and metadata needed to deliver alerts. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
- Can I rely on TrueSignal for compliance or record-keeping?
- No. TrueSignal is not designed or warranted as a compliance, archival, or record-keeping system. If you have specific regulatory or compliance requirements, speak with qualified counsel and use tools built for those obligations.
